Filmmaker Bio

My name is Kevin Veynand, and I'm the director of "Je Suis." I began my career in 2017 after receiving a master's degree in special effects. I arrived in Canada in 2019 to work at MPC and Mikros, two special effects and animation companies where I worked on feature films. In 2022, I began to focus on directing while continuing my career in animation, first with a music video for David Jankowski, a Quebec singer. In 2023, I really began my short films for Kino, where I participated in the mini-series with the FIP with my project "Roxane" and won the Jury Prize. I now have several films in festivals, including "Je Suis," which just received an award at the Cannes Film Festival.
