Millions celebrate Pride, but fewer know how it began. Through interviews with participants in the Stonewall Uprising and organizers of the first Pride march, the film revisits the resistance, struggles, and hopes that helped launch the modern LGBTQ+ liberation movement.

This documentary comes from a desire to better understand how collective memory is shaped, and how history is passed on and sometimes forgotten. […] Through interviews and personal testimonies, I wanted to create a space where lived experiences could be heard in their complexity, beyond simplified historical retellings. […] I hope to contribute to a better understanding of Pride: not only as a celebration, but as an ongoing struggle for visibility, dignity, and rights.
