Synopsis

Elisa, a worker from São Paulo, decides to skip work to go to the beach.

Filmmaker Bio

Rodrigo Ribeyro is a filmmaker from Serra da Cantareira in São Paulo. A graduate of AIC and UFRB, he has written, directed and edited six shorts and numerous music videos. His fiction short Cantareira won recognition at Cannes La Cinef, Rio de Janeiro ISFF, Brasília Film Festival, Goiânia Mostra Curtas and Curta Kinoforum. His subsequent films Green and The Nature also screened at major Brazilian festivals. Ribeyro's practice engages with environmental protagonism, relationships between society and nature and questions of labour.
