his film originated from our meeting with Victorine. We wanted to make a film about the violence caused by homophobia and the exile it forces people into. We sought to explore the difficulty of maintaining intimacy and the ever-present fear. We chose handheld camerawork to convey the urgency and nervousness experienced by the two main characters. From the outset, we also decided to make the film without dialogue, confronting viewers with the brutality of the situations depicted.
