In Morpheus & Charon, we explore memory, love, and aging through a queer, non-monogamous lens. Faced with dementia, Zito transforms his final days into a Brazilian samba musical extravaganza. By blending 1930s Carnival chanchadas with 1980s experimental lip-sync cinema, we subvert classical film devices to celebrate eroticism, care, and joyful resistance, reclaiming popular musical heritage for queer elderly lives.
