Shane Hollander (Hudson Williams) and Ilya Rozanov (Connor Storrie) are two of the biggest stars in Major League Hockey, bound by ambition, rivalry, and a magnetic pull neither of them fully understands. What begins as a secret fling between two fresh-faced rookies evolves into a years-long journey of love, denial, and self-discovery. Over the next eight years, as they chase glory on the ice, they struggle to navigate their feelings for each other. Torn between the sport they live for and the love they can’t ignore, Shane and Ilya must decide if there’s room in their fiercely competitive world for something as fragile–and powerful–as real love. Filmmaker Bio
Jacob Tierney is an award-winning Canadian actor, writer, director, and producer from Montréal. He is best known as co-creator, writer, and director of the hit Crave series Letterkenny and its spinoff Shoresy, both celebrated for their sharp writing and cult following. His feature films include The Trotsky (starring Jay Baruchel), Twist, and Preggoland. Tierney’s latest project, Heated Rivalry, is a queer hockey romance series premiering on Crave. A two-time Canadian Screen Award winner, Tierney’s work is known for its wit, intelligence, and originality, marking him as one of Canada’s most distinctive contemporary storytellers across film and television.
