image+nation culture queer / not-for-profit // mandate : to encourage and nurture LGBTQ+ culture and storytelling. Through evolving projects, image+nation culture queer explores the diversity of LGBTQ+ life and living through Queer Storytelling. Help us continue supporting and championing these stories. We can create a future for LGBTQ+ creators and audiences by making LGBTQ+ stories and storytelling accessible and shareable for all.

We would like to acknowledge that the land on which we physically gather and virtually stream to vou is located on unceded Indigenous lands. The Kanien:keha'ka Nation is recognized as the custodians of the lands and waters upon which image+nation takes place. Tiohtià:ke/ Montreal is historically known as a gathering place for many First Nations. Today, it is home to a diverse population of Indigenous and other peoples. We recognize the rich Indigenous heritage of this place, a place that is a source of pride and inspiration for the entire Montreal community.

image+nation Festival Film LGBT2SQueer Montréal Launches Updated Website


Montreal, 10 September 2024 - image+nation, Montreal's renowned LGBT2SQueer Film Festival, is thrilled to announce the launch of its newly updated website, designed to provide a more engaging and user-friendly experience for the LGBTQ+ community, queer cinema creators, industry members and queer film enthusiasts alike.


The updated website features:

Enhanced Navigation: A more intuitive layout that makes it easier for users to find information on screenings, events, and festival programming.

Integrated Box Office: custom built box office will allow for fast and efficient transactions to provide festival-goers with simple, easy to navigate ticket/pass purchases.

Accessibility: Commitment to inclusivity with tools and resources to ensure that all visitors can enjoy and navigate the site comfortably.

Latest Updates: Timely information about upcoming festivals events, special screenings and activities and exciting events throughout the year.

Film Archives: A comprehensive database showcasing past festival films, allowing users to explore and discover queer cinema history.
