A group of unknown gay men connect via a dating app for casual encounters. The starting point is a chemsex party, where drug use intensifies sexual experiences, but also reveals the depths of human emotions. The film explores both the fascination and liberating energy of these encounters and the emptiness and loneliness that can haunt a gay man's life.
Born in São Gonçalo, a suburb of the State of Rio de Janeiro, Daniel Porto began his career in 2013 as a playwright of the play O Pastor, which criticized the movement of Neo-Pentecostal Churches in Brazil and received the O Globo seal among the best plays on display that year. In 2023, he directed his first short film, Chemsex, with an LGBTQ+ theme that talks about the relationship between drugs and gay sex life in the contemporary world.
